…Smile

1. Rumour has it… It’s 22 degrees today and word on Meteorology Street is Sydney’s in for an early and warm spring. I’ll hug the sun itself* if this is true.

2. The trouble with fun of being myself. Pretty much everything I do these days – from learning to working to socialising to interwebz – feels a little bit like a genuine celebration of unapologetic absurdity. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to be a happy dork.

3. My peeps. Y’all make it worthwhile. Fo’ realz.

*I keep hearing about “the power of metaphor” in writing. Well, this one is so strong it burns.

…The year 2010 for Scorpio

1. Mysterious-looking dude with mysterious-looking website must have cred: Big love, wacky work, facing fears.

2. Yes but no but yes but…: You may get the biggest break of your career or maybe nothing will change and you’ll be bored with the same conditions, people, and prospects.  You may find love, or maybe you’ll break up, or perhaps nothing at all will happen.  Finances could be good, but they could also be bad.

3. I wish I could write jokes like these: “…if you were not here, there would be no world.  Or there might be, but you wouldn’t know about it…”

…The Oatmeal

1. 10 things you need to stop Tweeting about.

2. 7 reasons to keep your tyrannosaurus off crack.

3. How to use an apostrophe*.

*My fave, obviously.

Guess who’s back!

Er, me.

I’ve been off gallivanting around Greece, and gave you no prior warning because I had every intention of writing along the way.

The problem was, I realised I was on holidays…

Yipee!

But I’ll be telling you all about it – and there are stories that will surpass all of my ridiculousness to date – so stay tuned.

Until then, here’s something that really made me laugh, from a blogger who’s living the dream (but don’t abandon me for her - I promise I’ll lift my game!) – imagine the snobby places you could get away with wearing that t-shirt!

Sometimes, rants ARE good for something…
